Ernest V. Roberts Sr., 84, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Silverhill, died Friday, July 18, 2008.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Florence Fidler Doubrava Roberts of Silverhill; one daughter, Lilli Ann (Larry) Lewis of Robertsdale; one son, Clyde W. (Susie) Roberts of Loxley; four step-daughters, Patricia (Denis) Hermicz, Janice (Jack) Hollis and Donna (Tim) Johnson, all of Silverhill and Marie (Duke) Joyner of Fairhope;one sister, Beverly (Roberts) Gabler of Lucinda, PA; one brother, Dana (LaWanda) Roberts of Summerdale; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Roberts; three sons, Ernest V. Roberts Jr., Searcy Wayne Roberts and Rudy Doubrava.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26 at the Little Hall in Silverhill.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
