Freddy “Fred” R. Roberts, 62, of Gulf Shores, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.
He was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Foley.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Hanna Pugh Roberts of Gulf Shores; son, Kevin M. Roberts of Ridgeland, Miss.; step-daughter, Karen M. Moore Mobbs of Gulf Shores; bbrother, Charles Roberts of Red Oak, Texas; and three grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at First Baptist Church of Foley with the Rev. Dr. Bbilly Nale officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Christian Community Center, P.O. Box 307, Foley, AL 365335; or to Odyssey Health Care of Baldwin County, 9805 Millwood Circle Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526.
