Roberta Jean Porter, age 47, born in North Tonawanda, New York and a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13. 2016.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Porter of Gulf Shores, Alabama; daughters, Kristina Jean Harris of Foley, Alabama, Amanda Bess Williams of Orlando, Florida, Mellisa Ann Yarbrough of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Kayla Elizabeth Porter of Niagara Falls, New York and Kara Lynn Stewart of Niagara Falls, New York; son, Jerome Alexander Hill of Ontario, Canada; mother, Gloria Jean Dorsett of Gulf Shores, Alabama; sisters, Leah Ann Summey of Perdido Beach, Alabama and Trudy Lynn Rae of Longview, Texas; nine grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
