Robert Martin “Marty” Page Jr., 50, a native of Tuscaloosa and resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at a local hospital.
He wanted to be remembered for his love of God, his family, the great outdoors and animals. He was an avid outdoorsman and it was often said that if there was a fish around, he would catch it. His family and friends will always remember his passion for pleasing people with innovative cuisine, his wit and for being his own man.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. “Bobby” Page; and a brother, Stephen Bradley Page.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra M. Page of Fairhope; sister, Kelli (Gary) Foote of Bishop, Ga.; niece, Katie Foote of Bishop, Ga.; three uncles, Dr. Kenny (Roni) Moore of Hot Springs Village, Ark., J.J. (Gail) Page of Fairhope and Ferrell Fleming, Austin, Texas; and six cousins, Jay Page and Terri Williams, both of Gulf Shores, Sheila Crow of Sugarland, Texas, Sgt. Kenneth Moore of Virginia Beach, Va., Charlotte Caminas and Peggy Martin, both of Mobile.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Henry George Park on the bluff in Fairhope with the Rev. Mark Price of Church on the Eastern Shore and Pastor Chris Patrick officiating. Assistance with parking at the bluff will be available. Interment will follow be at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Hope Center at the Church on the Eastern Shore.
