Robert “Bob” Leon Haney, 88, a native of St. Elmo and resident of Fairhope, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
Mr. Haney was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and attended Georgia Tech. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Haney of Fairhope; a son Robert E. Haney of Fairhope; a daughter, Anne Haney Cross of St. Louis, Mo.; and grandchildren, Courtney Cross and Kevin Cross.
The family will receive friends at Fairhope United Methodist Church on Friday, May 24, 2013, from 1 until 2 p.m., with services following. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Fairhope United Methodist Church.
