Arlene and Alan Ring Sr. of Wickliff, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary-Lynn Marie Ring of New York, to Kevin Francis Galligan of New York, the son of Dennis and Jacqueline Frodsham of Fairhope and the late Francis B. Galligan of Gastonia, N.C.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hathaway Brown School for Girls in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. She is pursuing an advanced degree at the New York School of Interior Design.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Fairhope High School and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is senior vice president of HSBC Securities (USA).
The couple will exchange vows July 21, 2007 at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
