RIISEN Senior Care, the Eastern Shore’s first fully integrated in-home senior care service, recently announced in a news release that it has reached a milestone, serving 100 patients in Baldwin County within its first six months of operation. The achievement highlights the growing demand for home-based healthcare among the region’s aging population.
Founded in July 2025 by healthcare veteran Brian Booth, who brings more than 35 years of industry experience, RIISEN combines Medicare-covered house calls with non-clinical support, delivering care directly to patients’ homes. According to the release, the company partners with Fairhope Internal Medicine to provide access to physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses specializing in senior care. This team makes house calls to private homes and senior living communities throughout Baldwin County.
RIISEN focuses on adults 65 and older, including patients managing chronic conditions, recovering from surgery or requiring end-of-life care. Its integrated approach has already shown measurable results, including improved access to care and a reduction in unnecessary trips to emergency rooms and hospitals.
“Reaching 100 patients is more than a number — it represents 100 families across Baldwin County who now have access to modern-day house calls and, as needed, medically supervised home care in the event of an accident or illness. One call, one company. We are seeing firsthand how this model reduces stress on family caregivers and their loved ones while keeping people healthier and out of the ER and hospital. This milestone, and the early results, served as our marker for continued growth and expansion,” Dr. Regina Felkner, collaborating internal medicine physician at RIISEN Senior Care, said in the release.
RIISEN’s services range from companionship and assistance with daily tasks to hands-on clinical care, adjusting as patients’ needs evolve. By combining clinical and non-clinical services under one coordinated model, the company offers a comprehensive solution that is both medically sound and deeply personal.
“Every person that walks through this door has been fantastic. The entire team cares about my parent’s well-being. The ability to have access to a medical team at my fingertips is priceless. We have had medical visits, x-rays, labs, ultrasounds, wound care, OT and PT — all performed in the convenience and comfort of home for my parents. I could not have weathered this chapter of life without them,” said Searcy Yoder, a RIISEN client.
RIISEN aims to set a new standard for in-home senior care, helping seniors maintain independence while lowering the rising cost of long-term care. For families in Baldwin County seeking an alternative to traditional home care agencies, the company offers a clinically comprehensive and personalized solution.
