Richard Shurtleff Keighron, 85, of Daphne, passed away on Sept. 28, 2013.
Richard was born in Fairmont, W.V. A United States WWII Navy veteran, he graduated from West Virginia University and retired from AT&T after 37 years in management.
He was the beloved husband of Carol; the loving father of Leslie (Bill) Robins, Daphne and Doug Keighron, Daphne; cherished grandfather of Jill Keighron and Taylor Robins. Richard is also survived by his sister, Virginia Shaw, Brockport, N.Y. and her family; dear father-in-law, Theodore Guzenske, Solon, Ohio; loving sister-in-law, Lois (Scott) Lau, Midlothian, Va., along with their children and their families, Bruce (Kathy) Lau, their children, Christopher and Jeffrey; Amy (McAlister) Marshall, their children, Charlotte and McAlister; Matthew (Mary Ann) Lau, their daughter, Ahni; and good friend, BJ Howell.
Richard deeply loved his family and delighted in times spent with them.
The family wishes to thank Thomas Hospital ICU, Eastern Shore Rehabilitation and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
