Richard Olin Whitacre, 63, passed away on July 7, 2013.
He is survived by his children, Shannon (John) McClure of Texas, Sharron (Doug) Hughes of Texas, Shonna (Eddie) Elledge of Texas, Shelly (Brian Daniel) of Texas, Kelly (Dan) Lucas of Alabama, Rainey (Joshua) of Ballard of Alabama and Dallas (Bethanie) Colby of Alabama; brothers and sister, Thomas (Louise) Whitacre, Brenda (Charlie) Harrison, Sandra (Don) Breland and Ronald (Millie) Whitacre; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Whitacre will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 10 a.m., from Foley Church of God.
