Richard Dennis Lindsey, 95, of Foley, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at his residence in Foley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lindsey and Viola Singleton Lindsey.
Survivors include three daughters, Melba (Douglas) Latkanich of Foley, Margaret (Alan) Wilson of Pensacola, Fla., and Eunice (Alton) Brookhart of Millerstown, Pa.; three sons, Claude (Maxine) Lindsey Sr. of Foley, Virgil (Elva) Lindsey of Robertsdale and Vernon (Linda) Lindsey of Okeechobee, Fla.; sister, Leila Lindsey Brown of Brewton; 16 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Peebles officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
