RHS principal ‘happy’ with retirement

I would like to thank the Central Baldwin Community for the support that they have given to me as a student, teacher, assistant principal, and principal at Robertsdale High School.

No where in Baldwin County are the people as caring and genuine as those I know in Central Baldwin. Robertsdale High School is a special place filled with special people. I will always cherish the friendships that I made at RHS and in the community.

After 30 years in education, I know I retired suddenly, but I did nothing wrong. Looking back, I was discourteous in not saying goodbye. I know there are rumors because I departed so quickly.  However, I could not stand before the students, faculty, and staff who I love so much and say farewell. Those of you who know me realize that I poured my heart and soul into Robertsdale High School.

I am thrilled with my retirement, and I look forward to just being a member of the RHS community. I am not gone and I will still work to promote our great school.  No matter what the other schools and people think, Robertsdale High School is an excellent school, filled with awesome people, doing a magnificent job with our students.

I wish my faculty, staff and students the best of everything. I will see you soon. Thanks for all the wonderful years and the memories we made together. GO BEARS!!!!
