Branson, Missouri's favorite shows are coming to Mobile Jan. 30 at the Mobile Civic Center. Nationally known comic-genius Jim Stafford and the Baldknobbers Jamboree (Branson's longest running show) come together for two hours of uncontrollable laughter and hand-clappin', toe-tappin' music.

Jim Stafford says, "For over 50 years the Baldknobbers have kept folks coming back to Branson, searching for the answer to one burning question. Just what is a Baldknobber? Hilarious down home humor, great country music and family fun all come to mind. Buy a ticket and see for yourself!" Tickets for Branson's Favorite Shows are now on sale, call 251-208-7906 and visit www.MobileCivicCtr.com. Showtime is at 7:30pm.

Tim Mabe, aka Droopy Drawers Jr, of the Baldknobber Jamboree, says, "Along with masterful musical performances and pickin' a hot guitar, Jim Stafford makes everybody laugh out loud, including me. While he ain't a Baldknobber he sure is a certified first class knucklehead. Join us on January 30 and see why Jim Stafford has been Branson's master of comedy for over 20 years now."

Jim Stafford takes laughter to a new art form. Critically acclaimed as the "Victor Borge of the Guitar", Jim creates hilarious antics out from everyday life. Famous for his million-selling records, "Spiders & Snakes", "Swamp Witch", Cow Patti" and the infamous "My Girl Bill", Jim satirizes the obvious with his music and comedy. Only Jim Stafford can combine hysterical comedy with masterful performances on the classical guitar and heart-warming stories of the human spirit. MusicMaven.com calls Brad Paisley "…a modern-day Jim Stafford." See the REAL, modern-day Jim Stafford on January 30 at the Mobile Civic Center.

The Baldknobbers, Branson's first show, started in 1959. Today the 2nd & 3rd generations carry on the family tradition of great country music and side-splitting comedy by delivering everything from today's #1 hits, country music favorites and lots' of side splitting comedy. Both longtime Baldknobbers' fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers' family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation.

Tim Mabe, a 2nd generation Baldknobber himself, says, "Jim Stafford and the Baldknobbers together on one stage for a limited engagement; this is going to be pickin' and grinnin' the way it was meant to be!" Jim Stafford adds, "Grab your seat and buckle in for a hilarious ride of music and laughter. Let's have some fun!"
