Vernon Roy “Doc” Reno, 76, of Elberta, died recently.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, received his Ph.D from Devitoma University in Cincinnati in medical research, and worked for The National Aeronautics and Space Administration for over 25 years before retiring at Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.
Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Edith Reno of Elberta; and brother, Richard Reno of Cincinnati.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 19 from the chapel of Floral Hills Cemetery.
Local arrangements were made by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
