GULF SHORES, Ala. — Relay for Life’s Fun Day returns to Gulf Shores this weekend.

The annual Family Fun Day will be held on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at the Amusement Park of Waterville USA on State Road 59 South.

The yearly event will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Sarah Kuzma, Meyer’s Relay for Life co-captain, said, “Join the fun designed for the entire family and raise money for a very worthy cause at the same time.”

She explained that Relay for Life donation of $10 per person provides an afternoon of abundant entertainment at Waterville USA’s Amusement Park. Little ones, teens and adults will all enjoy the rides and activities that include mini-golf, roller coaster, go-carts, kiddie-rides and other amusements.

According to Kuzma, the event is focused on providing family-oriented fun, with proceeds benefitting a good cause.

“The end result of this fundraiser is 100 percent of the $10 admission fee donated to the American Cancer Society to fight the disease of cancer and provide services to cancer patients and their families,” she said. “We hope you will make your plans to join the fun.”

Advance tickets can be purchased at the Meyer office in Gulf Shores. All advance tickets purchased prior to the day of the event will include a free food voucher valued at $5 to be redeemed during Family Fun Day.
