Joseph Paul Reeves, 53, a native of Mobile and a resident of Elberta, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at his residence.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, reaching the rank of Chief Petty Officer First Class. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Reeves of Elberta; three sons, Jason (Elizabeth) Reeves of Milton, Fla., Jessie (Jennifer) Reeves of Milton and Kevin (Teresa) Davis of Tennessee; daughter, Sunde (Chris) Jordan of Graton, Conn.; his mother, Mary Reeves of Elberta; brother, Rick (Emily) Reeves of Elberta; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin, Ashley, Josh, Mason, Logan, Lyric, Larissa, Zander, and one on the way; and one great-grandchild, Chloe.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 23 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Services and interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 24 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.
