Students at Bay Minette Intermediate School are participating in the AEA contest, "Be a Champion and Read." Students must read six books in their reading level and make 80 percent or better on an Accelerated Reader quiz to qualify to submit a registration card. On Nov 9, two Alabama students will be drawn to win tickets to the Iron Bowl. Kolby Powell, above, a fourth grader in Renee Morrison's class, was the first student at BMIS to complete six books and get his card in the mail.
