JOHN UNDERWOOD/Staff Photos SILVERHILL, Alabama --- Local author Phil Owen hands out treasure to participants at Silverhill’s Oscar Johnson Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program on Tuesday. A total of 35 people, more than 20 children, participated in the program. They met at the library and walked to Zion Lutheran Church, where Owen read from his book, “Cousins and the Buried Treasure.” Participants were then given maps and sent on a quest for buried treasure at the library.
