Ilse Emma Rainer, 83, a native of Germany, and a resident of Foley, died Monday, March 22, 2010.
She was raised in Berlin, Germany. She was a professional ballerina in her youth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Rainer.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Viola R. Steigerwald of Foley; brother-in-law, Arthur L. Rainer of Orange Park, Fla.; numerous nieces nephews, and a special friend, Margaret Underwood of Waxahatchie, Texas.
A private family memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 23.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 2770 S. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
