Baldwin County 9-1-1 will host a Public Safety Career Fair on Aug. 27, giving community members an opportunity to explore careers in emergency services and public safety while connecting directly with recruiters and hiring staff.
The free event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Robertsdale Coliseum, 19477 Fairground Road in Robertsdale.
Representatives from agencies across Baldwin County and Alabama are expected to attend, including organizations in law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, 911 communications and other public safety fields.
“This job fair is a great chance for anyone interested in a career in public safety to learn more about the wide range of opportunities available,” said Baldwin County 911 Director Kristi Stamnes. “Agencies are looking for dedicated individuals who want to serve their communities, and this event provides a direct connection between candidates and employers.”
Attendees will have the chance to explore career opportunities with multiple public safety agencies, speak directly with recruiters and hiring staff and learn more about application processes, training requirements and career paths within the public safety sector.
Organizers encourage participants to bring copies of their résumés and prepare questions about available positions and career opportunities.
