The Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on expanding Alabama Highway 181 from U.S. Highway 98 to south of U.S. 90.
The meeting will be held Sept. 13, 5 to 7 p.m., at Daphne High School.
The hearing will be a “walk-in” information session with exhibits of the proposed project on display, according to a news release.
There will be no formal presentations, such as speeches, but ALDOT personnel will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
Comment sheets will be provided for residents who wish to give feedback. They may be returned within 10 business days after the hearing.
All comments will receive consideration in the final plan development of this project, according to the news release.
Daphne High School is located at 9300 Lawson Road.
