Pronouncing Sandy Germany Day in Elberta

ELBERTA, Ala. — During Tuesday’s Elberta Town Council Meeting, Mayor Marvin Williams read a proclamation naming Saturday, Aug. 23, as Sandy Germany Day.

Germany retires this month after serving for 23 years as Elberta town clerk. Along with the proclamation, town leaders also presented Germany with a bouquet of flowers and gift.
