FOLEY, Ala. — During the Sept. 15 Foley City Council meeting, Councilman Charlie Elbert reads a proclamation naming September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in Foley. Accepting the proclamation is Suzy Toronto of Redneck Riviera Chapter of Wonderful Wacky Women.
Joining her for the occasion are the chapter’s additional members, all dressed to create a “sea of teal.”
