Lewis Wayne Porter, 58, a native of Birmingham and a resident of Foley, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Omar Porter, and step-daughter, Marie Vinson.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Porter of Foley; three children, Melissa Franklin of Belle Chase, La., Lanette Porter of Marrero, La.; and Lisa Williams of Metarie, La.; his mother, Louise Porter of Foley; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 from the funeral home chapel.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
