Agnes Lindsey Ponder, 54, a native of Mobile and longtime resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, June 8, 2007 in Bay Minette, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Moore Ponder and Louis Davis Ponder and sister, Janice Ponder Rushlow.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Brom Vinson of Mobile and Ellen Hope Hayes of Slidell, La; first cousin and best friend, Jana Lynn Landers of Biloxi, Miss., extended family, friends, former students and beloved canine companion, Belle.
A private service will be held for the immediate family on the Tensaw River.
The family requests memorial donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
