FAIRHOPE, Ala., Effective today, the Pier Street boat ramp in Fairhope and the parking areas have been re-opened to the public. There are no further restrictions on daily operating hours. The area is now open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

As of today, final removal of the trailer, the tent and generators will be completed by the BP contractors. The contractors will also perform the necessary restoration of the area over the next few days, but will not interfere with public boating access.
