FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley Lions hit the practice field for the first time on Monday evening on the opening day of the 2013 AHSAA high school football season.

Football and volleyball teams across the state were allowed to practice for the first time on Monday. The Lions will visit Gulf Shores on Aug. 23 in a pre season jamboree game and open the regular season on the road at Alma Bryant on Aug. 30.
