A Phlebotomy Certification Prep Course is now being offered at Remington College's Mobile campus. Phlebotomy is the procedure where a needle is used to take blood from a vein, typically in preparation for lab testing.
The course begins on Oct. 10 and includes the cost of the first attempt at the National Healthcareer Association Phlebotomy Certification Exam. Enrollment for the course is open.
The course offers a convenient schedule and includes hands-on training. It is part of Remington College's Community Education, providing a catalog of community education courses to develop personal and professional skills. These non-credit courses are designed to be short term and affordable.
Students enrolled in the course will attend training in person once a week from 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Mondays. Cost of the course is $580.
The course includes instruction, out of class work, review assessment and phlebotomy lab.
