Sallie D. Perkins, 93, a resident of Spanish Fort, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009.
She served on the Board of Wilmer Hall Childrens Home during the 1950's.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur F. Perkins; son, Jack A. Perkins; daughter, Carol P. Livingston.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur F. Perkins Jr. of Baton Rouge, La., and Herbert “Bert” Perkins of Georgetown, Texas; daughter, Karen “Kay” Perkins Brown of Minneapolis; son-in-law, Richard Livingston of Lynchburg, Va.; grandchildren, Susan D. Livingston, Barclay L. Hammond, Mac Livingston Jr., Cary Perkins, David Perkins, Michelle Perkins, Courtney Perkins, H.D. Perkins Jr., Andrew Brown and Lindsay Brown; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 from the chapel of Westminister Village.
