On Saturday, Sept. 7, Pensacola Opera will host a Back to School Brunch from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New World Landing.

This festive brunch will be a celebration of the Opera’s education programs in the schools. The program will feature highlights of the From Words to Music and touring opera programs, recognition of collaborating schools and community supporters, and a special performance from students at Avalon Middle School. The menu will include a gourmet brunch buffet and a mimosa station.

Tickets are $40 each. Reservations are required in advance and can be made by calling the Opera at 850-433-6737. All proceeds will support the Opera’s nationally recognized programs in the schools in the 2013-14 academic school year.
