Paul R. Maradik Jr., 68, a native and resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He served in the Army National Guard for eight years at the Fairhope Alabama Unit. He was a certified FAA Inspector and he worked at Pemco in Dothan, for over 13 years. Paul retired from United Parcel Service Major Aircraft Maintenance Division after 22 years of service. During his service with UPS, he was stationed at many worldwide locations. Facilities include Singapore, Frankfurt Germany, Toulouse, France, Manchester United Kingdom, Louisville Ky., Seattle Wash., and Mobile. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Maradik Sr. and Margaret Louise Maradik of Fairhope. He was a loving husband to his wife, Barbara Maradik of Atlanta; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Melissa Maradik of LaGrange, Ga., and Matthew Maradik of Newport News, Vir.He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Norma Maradik of Navarre, Fla., and David and Betty Maradik of Fairhope; granddaughters, Emma Maradik and Hillory Griffin, both from Lagrange, Ga.; nieces, Katie Maradik, Fairhope, Melinda Bowden, Robertsdale, Melissa Osborne, Foley; nephew Jason Maradik, Navarre, Fla., and Michael D. Maradik of Philadelphia. Mass of Christian Burial was March 24. Arrangements by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes, Fairhope.
