Paul Day Allred, Sr., 75, of Foley, died July 11, 2012 at his home.
Paul, or (P.D.) as he was known by many, was born June 6, 1937 in Collins, Mississippi to Dr. and Mrs. William Wallace Allred. He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He served as an elder in both the Collins Presbyterian Church and Grace Fellowship Presbyterian Church. He was a Real Estate Broker with Brett Robinson for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Jimmy Lou Allred, of Foley; his son-in-law and daughter, Chris and Becca Sanders, of Foley, and their son, Garret Sanders; his brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Joanne Allred, of Collins, Mississippi; his sister, Madge Trigg, of Collins, Mississippi; his brother-in-law and sister, Jimmy and Billie Quinn, of Laurel, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Wallace Allred and mother, Jessie Day Allred; his sister, Elizabeth Wilson, and his beloved son, Paul Day Allred, Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama. A second visitation will be held on Saturday at 1:00PM, with a Funeral Service 2:00PM at the Billy M. King Memorial Chapel in Collins, Mississippi. Immediately following there will be a brief graveside service at the Collins Cemetery.
