Shirley Wherrett Patterson, 65, of Bartow, Fla., died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Lakeland, Fla., of cancer.
She was a native of Bartow, a former resident of Battlecreek, Mich., Mobile and Ashville, N.C., returning to Bartow in 1991.
Survivors include a son, Michael Wherrett of Elberta.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at Bartow First United Methodist Church.
