Jacob Tyler Parrish, 16, a native of Leroy and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at a local hospital.
He was a student a Gulf Shores High School, a member of the National Honor Society and the Scholars Bowl Team.
Survivors include his parents, Brian and Melissa Parrish of Gulf Shores; sister, Emily Parrish of Gulf Shores; grandparents, Sharon Matthews of Leroy, Kenneth (Janger) Cartee of Sunflower, Dickie and Elaine Parrish of Pensacola, Fla.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday Sept. 21 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
