Pamela Anne McKimie, born June 12, 1960, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 due to complications of chemotherapy while trying to beat aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col. Robert Lamar Henson Jr.; and brother, Robert Mark Henson.
She is survived by her mother, Jo Anne Henson; husband, Christopher F. McKimie; and son, Christopher R. McKimie.
Pam had dedicated her life to helping people through the medical arts, first in allopathic medicine for 25 years and then through alternative medicine for 14 years, going on to become a doctor of integrated medicine.
She also was a college-level educator and midwife whose focus was on infertile couples to bring the Joy of parenthood to them.
She was the most loving, caring and understanding soul in this world. She will be sorely missed by all.
