ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The City of Orange Beach Wind and Water Learning Center has been hosting Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) classes since the early summer.

The classes are great for a variety of ages, as participants have ranged in age from 11 to 72!  Becky Harger with Water Warrior out of Pensacola Beach has been conducting the classes at the new center, located directly behind the Orange Beach Public Library on Wolf Bay.

There are two remaining classes scheduled in the coming weeks. The lesson includes learning different paddle strokes, stances, launchings, maneuvers, and safety skills.
After the initial lesson, participants will be led on an excursion in Wolf Bay. Boards, paddles and ice water are provided.

This is the perfect introductory class to gain experience in the sport if you are considering renting or buying a board, or simply interested in getting involved with Paddle Boarding.

Ages 10 yrs and up and it cost $60 per person.
