William Shadrak Owen, 79, a native of Georgiana and a resident of Robertsdale, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Owen of Robertsdale; six daughters, Risa Brashier of Prattville, Darlis Leigh of Foley, Theresa Grace of Loxley, Kathy Harville of Robertsdale, Cheryl Sprinkle of Bay Minette and Dana Travis of Ashland; five sons, William Anthony Owen of Loxley, Kevin Owen of Nashville, Leon Bundy of Robertsdale, Donald Harville of Bay Minette and Stephen Nicholas of Robertsdale; sisters, two Mary Parker of Cantonment, Fla., and Lorraine Owen of Marlow; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grand children; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Heritage Baptist Church in the Rosinton Community. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Robertsdale.
