Conrad J. Kratz, O. Praem., Director of the Spiritual Life Center and Retreat House at St. Norbert Abbey in De Pere, Wis., will bring a multi-day parish renewal based on Scripture, spirital writings, true-life experiences and, of course, humor to Our Lady of the Gulf.
It is intended for all who want to renew their personal lives by examining the reasons to be happy and thankful and how to stay steady and faith-filled during the difficult times. Fr. Kratz has an extensive background in education, parish life and pastoral ministry. He has studied spirituality at both the Institute of Spiritual Leadership in Chicago and the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California.
This particular retreat has gone over very well and has been presented throughout the dioceses of Wisconsin as well as in New Mexico, Mississippi and Florida and this is the third year, he has brought the mission to the area. Fr. Kratz will be preaching at all the masses at the church on the weekend of Feb. 5-6. The conferences will be at 8:45 after the 8 a.m. mass on Feb. 7-10th. in the church.
A mass of the healing will be on the last day of the mission. Rolls, coffee, questions and answers to follow in the parish hall. There will be opportunities for confession if desired. For information, please call 251-968-5268.
