ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- A wreck just before 6 p.m. Tuesday night sent sent Robert James Hayward, 36, of Orange Beach to Baptist Medical in Pensacola via Lifeflight, according to Orange Beach fire officials.
A Baptist Hospital spokesperson said this morning Hayward was listed in stable condition.
According to the police report, witnesses told police Hayward was driving west on Canal Road and left the roadway to the right and flipped several times. He was ejected from the vehicle. Hayward was driving a 1995 Sierra pickup.
Personnel from Orange Beach Station 2 responded to the accident which was near Sportsman Marina.
