The Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival held a raffle and 35 lucky winners were announced at the Flora-Bama Lounge Labor Day weekend.
They were not the only winners. More than $9,000, or one hundred percent of the proceeds, were donated to local charities that sold the raffle tickets, including the Frank Brown Foundation For Music, the Old River Optimist Club, the Pirates of Lost Treasure’s Secret Santa Fund and the American Cancer Society.
The 26th Annual Frank Brown Inter-national Songwriters’ Festival is Nov. 11-21.
Songwriters from around the country will entertain in more than 24 venues along the Gulf Coast from Bon Secour to Perdido Key. For more information visit www.fbisf.com.
