ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Orange Beach children will be treated to the ninth Kid’s Night Out sponsored by the Orange Beach Police Department on Aug. 8 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the city’s Waterfront Park on Canal Road.
The idea for the event came out of the National Night Out “a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW),” according to the group’s website.
Kids in Orange Beach will be treated to several water slides, a dunking booth and free hot dogs and drinks. The children are encouraged to wear swim clothes for a fun time on a lot of “Get Wet” activities. Ages up to 13 years of age are recommended and parents must accompany the child for the event.
The kids can also enjoy free cool treats and soft drinks.
