ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The city of Orange Beach Planning Commission will hold its regular meeting Monday, March 9 at 4 p.m. inside the Orange Beach Municipal Complex Council Chambers.

HEARINGS:

1. Resubdivision: 0301-SD-09 – Artland Plat Resubdivision. Location: 27497 & 27501 Park Circle.

Owner/Applicant: Vince Lucido; Owners: Artland Enterprise.

Request: Approval of a preliminary/final plat to resubdivide and merge Lot 2 and Lot 3 of the Terry Cove Subdivision in the RS-1 (Single-Family Residential) zoning district into a single lot.

2. Zoning Text Amendment: 0302-ZT-09 – Beach Overlay Fencing. Location: Beach Overlay District. Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach. Request: Amend Article 10.0306 of the Zoning Ordinance to regulate fencing materials in the Beach Overlay District.

3. Zoning Text Amendment: 0102-ZT-09 – Digital/Electrical Changeable Copy Signs. Location: City of Orange Beach. Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach.

Request: Amend Article 15 (Sign Regulations) of the Zoning Ordinance to define changeable

copy signs and to expand to allow certain digital/electrical changeable copy signs with limits in size and frequency of message. Deferred from the Planning Commission meeting of 02/09/2009.
