ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The name of the Lafayette teen who died after a fall from an Orange Beach condominium balcony has been released by a TV station in Acadiana-Lafayette, La.

KATC has learned from relatives that the victim is Ian Blanco, a 17-year-old student at Lafayette High School.

Orange Beach Assistant Police Chief Greg Duck says Blanco was found around 10 A. M. Tuesday on the pavement outside a local condo identified by multiple media outlets in Mobile and Pensacola as the Tidewater Condominiums.

Duck says Blanco's family was sleeping inside the condo when police knocked on their door to notify them of the fall.

Blanco was given CPR before being airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, where he later died.

Duck says there are no signs of foul play.
