Optimist Club of Perdido Bay Health Fair

LILLIAN, Ala. -- The Optimist Club of Perdido recently hosted the 25th Annual Family Health Fair in Lillian. A variety of health care providers talked with visitors and distributed literature and other health-related objects.

Participants included Amedisys Home Health, American Red Cross, Andrews Institute, Baldwin County Health Department, Baldwin County Animal and Mosquito Control and EMA, and Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department.

Also, Baldwin Optical and Hearing, Community Hospice, Disabled American Veterans, DaVita Dialysis, Elberta Clinic, Golden Living, Hightower Chiropractic, Home Care Companions, Life South Bloodmobile, Lower Alabama Search and Rescue (LASAR), Lillian Volunteer Fire Department and Medstar, and Lillian Pharmacy.

And Live Oaks Village, Longevity Health and Wellness, Natural Health Center and Naturopathic Medicine, New Precision Imaging, Odyssey Hospice, Palmetto Creek Dental, South Baldwin Medical Center,, VA Joint Ambulatory Care Center, VA Veteran’s Counseling, West Florida Hospital Mammogram unit and the YMCA.

The Optimist Club of Perdido Bay has several special events planned for the next few months including Kids Easter Egg Hunt on April 7; Fishing Rodeo on April 14; Hot Dogs for 120 kids at Elberta Elementary School as a reward for the third grade testing; Law & Order Day, honoring Baldwin County law enforcement personnel; Oratorical Contest; Educator of the Year Award; Scholarship Awards; and Children’s Fun Day in the Park.
