Olde Time Days returns to Bicentennial Park

Posted

Baldwin County’s agricultural heritage will take center stage Saturday, Oct. 3, during the annual Olde Time Days Festival at Bicentennial Park.

Hosted by the Baldwin County Commission’s Department of Archives and History, the family-friendly festival will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 51233 State Highway 225 in Stockton, about 1.5 miles north of I-65.

This year’s theme, “Harvesting Our Farming Heritage,” celebrates the hardworking farmers and timeless traditions that have shaped Baldwin County communities and continue to sustain them today.

Visitors can experience demonstrations of traditional farming techniques, including plowing, peanut threshing and hay baling. The popular cruise-in antique car and tractor show will return, along with the festival parade at noon.

Live entertainment throughout the day will feature The Chestangs, Unknown Bluegrass Band and the Path to Peace Choir.

Local vendors will offer a variety of goods, while festival-goers can enjoy Southern-style food, sweet treats and refreshing beverages. Cash is required for vendor and food purchases.

Children can enjoy a carnival, giant slides, Uncle Joe’s Rolling Petting Zoo, train and trolley rides, face painting, balloon art, Kona Ice, games and more.

Olde Time Days is a celebration of Baldwin County’s agricultural roots, bringing together history, heritage and community. Families and visitors of all ages can find opportunities to enjoy the day while learning about the traditions that helped shape the county.

Admission to the park is free. Donations are welcomed and appreciated.
