Olben Oneal Quinley, 83, a native and resident of the White House Fork community of Bay Minette, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He was a civil engineer for the Alabama Department of Transportation. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Aileen Thomley Quinley of White House Fork; his children, Danny Oneal (Valerie) Quinley of Creola and Patricia Quinley (Wayne) Phillipy of White House Fork; one brother, Tommy Quinley of Ruidoso, N.M.; one sister, Elizabeth Ward of Stapleton; grandchildren, Joshua Oneal (Lauren) Quinley of Mobile and Heather Quinley of White House Fork; great-grandchildren, Jack Legguer Quinley and Jonas Levi Quinley; step-grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Phillipy of Mobile and Rebecca (Tom) Hartner of Daphne; and step-great-grandchildren, Jayden Phillipy, Halle Hartner and Hayes Hartner.
The funeral service will be held Monday, July 22, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.P. Lambert, Lonell Peacock and the Rev. James Peacock officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 21, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
