GULF SHORES, Ala. — It's feathers, sequins and fans for the five talented nuns from the fictional convent of Mount St. Helens, who are in Las Vegas to raise money for their latest project.

Join them on this rollicking adventure filled with singing, dancing and plenty of wisecracks.

Getting ready for the show are Marsha Guyer, Margaret Cooper, Denean Anthony, Logan Anthony and Sharon Watson.

The five women in the show hail from Gulf Shores, Elberta, Silverhill and Robertsdale and include a mother-daughter duo.

Joyce James, veteran SBCT board member, is the show’s director and Jackie Dahlman, the pianist at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church, is the accompanist.

“Nunsensations" runs from Jan. 15 to Jan. 24 at South Baldwin Community Theatre in Gulf Shores.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for students and group rates for 10 or more people are available.
