The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce marked more than eight decades of service to the local business community during its 81st-annual meeting on Feb. 24, bringing together business leaders, elected officials and residents for an evening of recognition and celebration.
The event highlighted the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth and development across North Baldwin while honoring businesses and individuals who have made a meaningful impact on the region a news release said.
According to a news release, attendees gathered at 5:30 p.m. for a networking social, offering an opportunity for local professionals and community leaders to connect before the official program began at 6 p.m. The meeting also included a recap of the Chamber’s accomplishments throughout 2025 and recognition of the partnerships that continue to strengthen the local business climate.
A centerpiece of the evening was the annual awards ceremony, which recognized businesses and individuals for their leadership, service and contributions to the North Baldwin community.
Award recipients included:
• 2025 Emerging Business of the Year — Iron Rock Farm
• 2025 Small Business of the Year — Lil Mae’s Fashion
• 2025 Business of the Year — Reed Construction
• 2025 Service Award — Lisa Yokley
“Our 81st-annual meeting was a great opportunity to celebrate the businesses and individuals who help make North Baldwin such a strong community,” Executive Director Kristina Pittman said in the release. “We’re grateful for our members, sponsors, board members and community partners whose support helps us continue promoting growth and opportunity across our area.”
The Chamber also recognized event sponsors who helped make the gathering possible, including title sponsor Baldwin EMC. Their support, Chamber leaders said, plays a key role in strengthening programs and expanding opportunities for local businesses.
In addition, the organization acknowledged both the outgoing 2025 Board of Directors and the incoming 2026 board for their leadership and continued commitment to advancing business growth and community development throughout North Baldwin.
The evening concluded with recognition of the North Baldwin Chamber staff for their work supporting Chamber programs, initiatives and community partnerships during the past year.
