On Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Alabama Career Center System once again collaborated to present the annual Baldwin County Job Expo. This inclusive event welcomed both veteran and non-veteran job seekers, offering a platform for over fifty employment opportunities within the community.
This year's expo included over 50 companies and attracted over 250 job seekers who had the chance to explore a diverse range of employment possibilities in the area. The North Baldwin Chamber expressed gratitude to the sponsors of the event: Quincy Compressor, Baldwin EMC, North Baldwin Utilities, Original Oyster House, Coastal Alabama Community College, Performance Personnel Services and Novelis for their significant investments in the growth and prosperity of Baldwin County.
Kristina Pittman, Executive Director of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the organization's commitment to orchestrating impactful events like the Job Expo for the community.
"The North Baldwin Chamber strives to organize educational and impactful events, such as the Job Expo, for our community. By doing so, we aim to enhance the quality of life in the place we proudly call home,"Pittman said.
The collaborative effort of the North Baldwin Chamber and the Alabama Career Center System continues to play a vital role in connecting job seekers with employment opportunities, contributing to the economic development of Baldwin County.
