The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Alabama Career Center System will host the annual Veterans Job Expo on Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette.
According to a news release, the event is free and open to all job seekers, with a focus on helping Veterans connect with local employers offering well-paying positions. The John F. Rhodes Civic Center is loacted at 301 D'Olive St. in Bay Minette.
More than 40 employers are expected to participate, representing a wide range of industries in the North Baldwin area. The expo aims to provide job seekers with direct access to hiring companies and resources to advance their careers.
“The Chamber and Alabama Career Center invite all job seekers, especially Veterans, to attend this free event and take advantage of the opportunities present. By connecting job seekers with leading companies in our community, we aim to facilitate meaningful employment and contribute to the overall prosperity of North Baldwin,” Kristina Pittman, executive director of the North Baldwin Chamber, said in the release.
The event is supported by sponsors including Quincy Compressor, Novelis, Coastal Alabama Community College, Baldwin EMC and North Baldwin Utilities. Chamber officials say the expo plays a key role in supporting local economic growth by linking employers with qualified candidates.
