FOLEY, Ala. - The luncheon scheduled to be held on Monday at the Foley Civic Center was postponed due to the death and funeral of local resident Sam Parker, and a new date has not been announced by the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

    "They haven't reset the date yet," Lori Crace, the chamber's events director, said. "(Parker) had been associated with the chamber for a long time, and he was very involved. It was the right thing to do to postpone the luncheon."

    United States Congressman Jo Bonner was scheduled to speak at the luncheon, which was organized by the chamber.
